DiBcom and Atelier partner to bring Mobile TV to Symbian and Series 60 smartphones

DiBcom, the leader in mobile TV front-end solutions and Atelier the leading provider
of telephony integration solutions for smartphones hav announced they are partnering
to bring advanced hardware and software DVB-H solutions for the creation of Mobile
TV-enabled Symbian and Series 60-based mobile phones.

The companies are joining forces to ease integration of DiBcom's mobile broadcast
digital TV chipset into Symbian-based smartphones and reference designs by providing
handset manufacturers, semiconductor vendors and original design manufacturers
worldwide with hardware, driver and middleware software as well as Mobile TV integration
services for Symbian OS-based smartphones.
