lotus notesCommonTime announces mSuite for Nokia 9300 phones. This extends their best of breed mobile and wireless Lotus Notes messaging solution to offer Lotus Instant Messaging and Push Email for the popular enterprise phone.

11 October 2005, UK. - “Symbian OS devices, particularly Nokia, have a fantastic future and we’ve witnessed a strong performance in European enterprises” says Nigel Mackrill, CEO CommonTime, “My prediction is that Symbian OS will be a very important platform for CommonTime. Nokia know how to make great phones and CommonTime know how to add substantial value to these phones for the enterprise, so we’re a good match”

Nigel says, “Our award-winning mNotes™ solution has long been known in Notes/Domino® circles as the only game in town for introducing a desktop-like Lotus Notes messaging experience to PDAs and Smartphones. mSuite which includes mNotes™ functionality delivers industry-recognized AES security, protecting against handheld device data theft, identity theft and fraudulent email attacks” Secure wireless data transfer, centralized management of devices & their content will also now be available to Nokia 9300 owners. mSuite aims to boost productivity, reduce cost of ownership and increase total benefit of software and device ownership. Products from the mSuite range run over a common architecture, the CommonTime Mobility Framework which ensures a smooth upgrade from mNotes™ (mobile Lotus Notes® messaging) to a complete security and management suite.

mSuite is the only total mobility solution dedicated solely to enterprises running Notes/Domino technology. It consists of components that may be purchased separately or together:-

Lotus Instant Messaging Support for real-time Instant Messaging. mForms – a rapid mobile application development tool mSecurePDA – mSecure PDA provides multi-layered physical security for handheld devices & their removable media mControl – centralized device management CommonTime Mobility Framework - A robust enterprise infrastructure that adds enterprise scalability, robustness and end-to-end over the air security with AES encryption
