Mobile League is extended gameplay functionality for specific Digital Chocolate games that allows mobile gamers to compete by means of leaderboards, and operator-specific contests and sweepstakes.

Dynamic Mobile Community Allows Gamers to Compete with Tournaments and Leaderboards

Digital Chocolate, a developer of software for mobile phones, today announced the availability of Johnny Crash Stuntman Does Texas, a mobile game that supports Digital Chocolate's popular Mobile League gaming functionality, on 3 Sweden. This marks the first time that the company's Mobile League titles are available in Europe.

Helsinki, Finland  July 14, 2005 --  In addition to launching Johnny Crash Stuntman Does Texas, 3 Sweden has launched a month-long contest and sweepstakes available to all customers who purchase the game and post their scores to the Mobile League. Johnny Crash Stuntman Does Texas will be available through 3 Sweden.

"Mobile League adds a new dimension of community and competition to mobile games. The opportunity to compete with thousands of other players around the world or within one’s country extends the user experience far beyond gameplay. Our Mobile League games have proven to be hugely popular in the U.S., and we are excited to offer this capability in Europe as well," said Trip Hawkins, CEO and founder of Digital Chocolate.

"3 and Digital Chocolate share the vision of attracting new users to mobile services by offering entertaining, high-quality games that are attractive to a wide audience. We are happy to partner with Digital Chocolate to bring the pioneering Mobile League concept to our customers," said Andreas Johnsson, Business Developer for 3 Sweden.

Johnny Crash Stuntman Does Texas is an entertaining arcade title in which players control stuntman Johnny Crash through 12 levels of increasingly crazy stunts. A replay and scrapbook feature allows players to relive Johnny's "greatest hits", while a hot-seat multiplayer mode lets gamers to go head-to-head with up to three friends. Players can also challenge friends via SMS.

Digital Chocolate's full Mobile League range currently includes over a dozen titles covering puzzle, action and arcade games.
