Penrillian have released a major update to SymbianOSUnit, the open source test tool for Symbian OS applications written in C++.
SymbianOSUnit is a unit test tool in the style of other automated test frameworks such as CxxTestUnit and JUnit. It provides a powerful and flexible testing framework ideally suited for unit and regression testing.
The latest version adds support for the UIQ platform, as well as support for all versions of the Series 60. Other enhancements include support for multiple test suites, automatic memory leak detection, support for logging and improved Symbian OS type comparisons.
New documentation and a tutorial project will help both novice and experienced developers get started with the test tool.
