SAN DIEGO-April 15, 2005- SMS.ac, Inc. (www.sms.ac/corporate) executives will travel to Northern California next month to address attendees
at two separate and industry-leading conferences.
With more than 30 million registered users, SMS.ac is host to the largest community
of mobile phone users in the world (www.sms.ac).
On May 26, SMS.ac’s chairman and chief executive officer, Michael Pousti, will
deliver a keynote speech at the 6th World Wireless Congress, this year held in
San Francisco. Pousti’s topic for this event is titled: “Mobile Phones: The World
at Hand.” In addition to presenting the conference with his vision for what will
unfold in the wireless industry in coming months, Pousti will discuss global revenue
opportunities, governmental regulation, the continuing search for the “killer
app,” and how to generate sustainable revenue by embracing mobile initiatives.
Earlier in the month, Greg Wilfahrt will address attendees at Connections: Digital
Home Conference and Showcase 2005, also being held in San Francisco. As SMS.ac’s
executive vice president, Wilfahrt will participate in a discussion relating to
the distribution of multimedia content to consumers around the world.
As next-generation mobile phones proliferate in the marketplace and the network
pipes widen to enable the unimpeded distribution of multimedia content, wireless
devices such as mobile phones will play a pivotal role in the value chain for
content, access and platforms.
