Mobile Entertainment Publisher's Title Continues to Gain Industry Accolades;
Currently Among the Top Rated Offerings in the Game Lobby from Sprint
IN-FUSIO, the international mobile entertainment publisher and gamers' community
management provider, received a nomination today for the 2nd Annual Wireless Gaming
Awards recognizing innovation, design and technical achievement. The company's
title, Shado Fighter was selected as a finalist in the category of Best Action
game of the year after an extensive review process by a panel of experts from
the mobile gaming industry websites, GameSpot Wireless and Wireless Gaming Review.
The winners of this year's awards, also known as The Mobies, will be announced
during a ceremony to be held at the CTIA Wireless 2005 trade show in New Orleans
on March 15, 2005.
The award nomination is among a series of growing accolades Shado Fighter has
garnered over the last year, including the Editor's Choice awards from mobile
gaming sites IGN Wireless and GameSpy.com. Shado Fighter is also currently rated
by customers as the number one fighting game, and among the top five overall by
the mobile gaming community in the Game Lobby from Sprint.
"We are honored to have an IN-FUSIO game considered among the very best at the
Wireless Gaming Awards and in the company of some of the industry's highest caliber
offerings," said Craig Holland, CEO, IN-FUSIO North America. "Shado Fighter is
yet another example of IN-FUSIO's dedication to delivering top quality mobile
games which are enjoyed by consumers, a success for carriers and recognized by
the industry. We are especially proud that the title is an original IP and proof
that a game's success can still be based on solid design and gameplay, not just
a license."
Shado Fighter lets gamers choose from nine characters, each with their own unique
fighting style, as they make their way through a tournament of skilled warriors.
In addition to up to 12 special moves, each fighter also has their own home level,
providing for nine different, detailed stages. Reminiscent of popular, classic
fighting games, players can select between four different difficulty and game
speed levels to find a setting that best fits their skills.
Shado Fighter features four game play modes:
-- Training Mode: Players can learn and practice all of their fighter's moves
- including special attacks - before they go into battle.
-- Story Mode: Gamers brawl their way through the ranks until they reach big
Boss Shado. Along the way, each stage consists of three rounds, with the winner
having to take the best two out of three.
-- Survival Mode: Gamers must beat opponents without losing a single round and
with up to 128 fights in all, Survival Mode offers even the most skilled player
hours of game time.
-- Time Attack: Players have to defeat eight fighters in record time, taking
on enemies as well as the clock.
