Seven new Symbian OS phones Revealed at 3GSM Print E-mail

Seven Symbian OS devices were announced this week at the 3GSM Congress in Cannes. Read on for more information including images and specifications.

Lenovo P930 ... a dual-band GSM900/GSM1800 smartphone for entertainment and business use
China's leading mobile handset manufacturer Lenovo unveiled its P930, the first smartphone for the Chinese market. The P930 features an appealing clamshell design, an easy to use pen-input interface in addition to normal keypad input, a 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash, video recording capability, Bluetooth connectivity, a miniUSB and a removable SD/MMC memory card. Motorola A1010 ... the ultimate 3G convergence phone

Panasonic X800 ... this series 60 device is only 17.2mm slim
"The X800 smartphone incorporates the Symbian Series 60 PlatformTM and features QuickofficeTM - software that allows users to view, edit and save Microsoft® Excel and Word documents and view Powerpoint® documents. Featuring a high-quality camera as well as video function, users can store pictures and video clips on the miniSDTM card and also transfer the data to other compatible devices. Samsung SGH-D720
The Samsung SGH-D720 is based on Symbian OS and is part of Samsung’s latest range of multi-tasking phones. The Samsung SGH-D720 has a “snap” slide function for opening and using the key pad, and the handset weighs only 110g. It features a 1 megapixel camera with flash and 4X digital zoom, video streaming and messaging capabilities and a high resolution 262,144 color screen. The built-in MP3 player along with the SGH-D720’s dual speaker and 3D sound provides a full mobile music experience. It also features a range of productivity applications including instant messaging and email syncing.
