Announcing PowerFile for Series 80 - file management for Nokia 9500 with all bells and whistles! Print E-mail
Written by Symbianware
Tuesday, 28 December 2004

9500" alt="Nokia 9500" src="/images/stories/article_images/nokia9500.gif" align="left" border="1">With PowerFile version 1.00, Symbianware provides the first full fledged file manager for the successful Nokia 9500 Communicator. Complete integration of zip archives, send files and access to ROM drives streamline your work.

PowerFile shows regarding to users preferences an explorer view with tree and file panel or a commander-style view with two panels in list view for faster copying and comparing. The popular info views for files, folders and drives are not missing, too.

All classic commands like copy, move, cut and paste are implemented and work on folders and subfolders. And even file attributes can be set recursively for subfolders and their files. File selection is very flexible and can even be inverted by command. The access to ROM drives is another innovative feature. The system folder can be hidden or shown, as the user likes. Selected filed can be sent immediately via infrared, Bluetooth, email and MMS.

Up to ten keyboard shortcuts can be set for frequently used folders - allowing quickest navigation in the file structure of Symbian OS. User defined colours for selected files help to master even large drives and folders. File types can automatically be retrieved by the help of the MIME recognizer.

The vast array of functions, perfect usability and fastest navigation make PowerFile to an important business add-on for your Nokia 9500 Communicator - and not only for advanced users!

As for all SymbianWare products you have 15 days for evaluation of all features.

SymbianWare PowerFile v1.00 for Series 80 is available at the price of EUR 17.95 or US-$ 17.95 at http://symbianware.com/product.php?id=powerfile80.
