The software is among the world's first embedded security solutions for Symbian based devices, and is FB-4's latest offering in the wireless handheld market. Virus Guard is Symbian certified, and is also available on Series 60 and UIQ Symbian devices. The application has a real time monitor, and receives virus updates completely wirelessly through FB-4's over-the-air distribution network. Virus Guard will be preloaded on the memory cards supplied with the phones. The FB-4 Remote Device Manager is available for enterprise users.
